Plants & gardens
In class we have been learning all about plants and gardens and what plants grow how and when.We are also learning how to apply knowledge.We are looking ford to seeing what plants we can grow this month.My teacher has brung in some seeds for us to put in water and see what what they sprout into.
For the activity we have planted some seeds to see what they sprout into.We also had to look at a planting calendar to see what fruit and veggies we can grow this month.We learned that apples, asparagus, Blueberries, Blackberries, Feijoas, Lemons, pears, Raspberries, Strawberrys, Tomato, Orange, Mandarins and limes grow this month in august.
I enjoyed looking at the tui planting calendar. I also enjoyed finding out what plants grow in august.What was challenging was Finishing my blogging on time because I had sports on so I didn’t get much time to finish but i manished to get it done on time.Next time i will change the fruit and veggies to what native trees grow in august so maybe we can plant some more native trees in august around our school or plant some native trees in august in our rerenga awa.
Maybe you could plant some plants veggies or fute at you house work or school.
